		Courting Candle In the old days, when a young man would date a girl, it was called "courting". First the boy would get permission from the girl's father to court his daughter. When the young man would come for a visit, the father would set this candle to a certain height and light it. When the candle burned down to the top of the holder, it was time for the date to end and the boy would then leave. If the father liked the young man ... he would set the candle higher so the date would last longer. If he didn't like the young man ... he would set the candle lower to give him less time with his daughter. Holds a 7" long X 3/4" straight candle and includes candle in your choice of color.
